fall fundraiser: hocus pocus

A major part of the internship included the organization of the annual SER fall fundraiser. The interns were in charge of running the entire event from the planning stages to the execution. I was part of the event scheduling team which focused on creating the timetable for the night of the fundraiser and coordinating each of the activities and who was running them. The activity that I spearheaded was the trivia; I created an aesthetic presentation that aligned with the Hocus Pocus theme as well as general Halloween topics. Additionally, I designed the trivia sheet and printed out roughly twenty copies to distribute at the event, all of which were used with teams ranging from two to five people. The fundraiser was a huge success! We raised over $1,000 with attendees stating this was the best event SER has hosted.
